Our story begins

Our founder, Abu Samir was perfecting our traditional Lebanese Baklawa recipes back in the sixties, and this is where our story began. 

These are the very same cherished family recipes that we are still using today, that have been passed down through the generations of our family. 

Cedar Baklawa was named by our father Abu and his Inspiration was Lebanon’s national tree and a deep-rooted culture of sharing. We still proudly continue with this name today.

Built on family recipes passed down through generations, Cedar Baklawa remains deeply connected to our origins and we still use artisan, hand-crafted techniques today.

In 2000, we started our first professional bakery business, and this is when we first established Cedar Baklawa (Dad Ltd).

Our second-generation family continues to produce our famous confectionary products today.

We remain true to our traditional and artisan methods lovingly creating every mouthful of confectionary joy.

Our bakery journey continues

Our bakery has grown a lot over the years, with expansion seeing us move from our original Park Royal London location to our modern, and more extensive Luton-based site in Bedfordshire.

Our mission is to continue to handcraft each product with
the same care and tradition that our family recipes have inspired for generations. We’re continually improving, embracing new ideas and developing exciting new products.

We’ve expanded our range of authentic products and added some signature ones along the way, all expertly crafted by our skilled bakery team, using artisan techniques, enhanced by the flexibility of our production facilities.

Our premium confectionary products are stocked in discerning fine food stores across the UK. We are proud today to be a leading supplier of our high-quality bakery products to both retail and foodservice.
